A journey to remember

Kita Berbeda, Lalu Kenapa?

Posted on: December 13, 2008

Tapi apa yaa?”

Gue ketawa. “Hehe, sebabnya elo nggak tau kan Idul Adha itu ngerayain apa?”

“Hmmm…” Mikir sebentar. “Kalo gitu selamat makan kambing deh.”

Hah? Selamat makan kambing?

“Haha… gue nggak suka makan kambing tau, abis bau sih.”

“Ya kalo gitu selamat makan sapi deh, hehe…”

It’s so nice to see how people appreciate diversities between us. Keep being friends yaa guys!

From classmates to travelmates! Been friends since we were only 15 years old! Met them up today and we’ve made a lot of plans for our coming trips. Let’s make it happen!
I don’t know why but I couldn’t seem to get any new outfit for Lebaran this year. I went to three shopping malls but then I went home with empty hands. So here I am... wearing one old dress I bought a couple years ago. Today before Eid prayer was begun, I saw something that made me smile. I instantly knew that I’ve had something way more important than a new dress for myself. I’d be happy if I had a new dress, but I’m still perfectly happy even without any of it. God has been incredibly kind to me and Ramadhan this year couldn’t be more miraculous to me. I am full of flaws, but I’ve had way more than enough, and I couldn’t ask for more. Eid mubarak and please do forgive me for all the wrong said and done. Let’s celebrate this holly day as the new beginning for each and everyone of us. Love - Riffa.
Arfa, my very first nephew, is turning six today! Just two days ago, he told me, “Aunty, when I grow up, I want to be vey rich so that I can buy for you anything you want!” He’s lovable, isn’t he? It never ceases to amaze me to see all the new things he learned, said, and did in the past 6 years. He’s growing up so fast and I can’t be prouder of him! Happy birthday, Arfa! Wish you’ll always be a loving kid and may Allah always bless you in every step of the way. So much love - your proud Aunty ❤️
